Review on Wake Me Up Concealer

Hi everybody so recently I've been to boots, one of my favorite places to go to buy my make up and I went there because I desperately needed a concealer. My old one I actually lost it, which I was really annoyed about because I had loads left in it and I really liked it. I surprisingly went without a concealer for quite a long time, probably a couple of months as I didn't really want to get a new one because I recently got the other one but enough is enough! I feel a lot more confident when I've concealer on my face because when I break out, which is quite frequently as I'm a teenager I have nothing to cover those horrible spots up. Foundation is good but it doesn't do a very good job in hiding spots however very good in making your skin look a lot smoother and brighter. My old concealer I used was "Lasting Perfection" which I really liked and I recommend it a lot but it didn't have it in the boots I went to so I got " Wake Me Up" instead which is also really good and a lot of people have been talking about that as well.

I feel that this is amazing, it is very light and creamy, it's not as thick as the lasting perfection but I think that's a real positive not a negative cause it's not so gloopy then and doesn't sink into my skin to reveal awful little lines that I didn't realize were there before. I find if you suffer from bags under your eyes it covers them well and also it blends very nicely with my foundation. It's also quite cheap as well, only £5.49  which I feel is a real bargain. I would say this specializes in dark circles however is also good with covering skin.
Have you tried this concealer? What do you think of it?

Easter Activities part 2

Decorating Eggs

Step 1: Boil the eggs so they are hard boiled

Step 2: Put them in egg cups and start decorating them, this is when you go wild with your imagination. You can do whatever you want, as you can see from the picture I did flowers and my dad decorated his with stripes and lines. You could do a face on them, do an Easter scene or just simply cover them with dots!

Easter Tree

It doesn't have to be Christmas when you buy a tree it can also be Easter! Here you can simply pick fresh flowers from your garden or simply by them from your local shop. The vibrant colors of the flowers will instantly change your mood from sad to happy when you walk through the room. This activity is perfect to do with children they will so excited!

For the decorations on the tree you can buy some online, I recommend to look at this website: http://www.notonthehighstreet.com/easter/easter-home/easter-home-decorations   or you can buy them at garden centers. If you don't have any Easter decorations this year then you could simply make them yourself!

Easter Garden

You can make a garden like this one anytime however I like to keep it Seasonal, so in the winter I might do a Snow Garden with cotton wool, in the Autumn I might do trees and leaves and so on. As it's Easter I thought I would do an Easter Scene. I'm a Christian so I believe in Jesus, as Easter is a very special time for religious people I thought it would be nice to include it in my garden. However if your not religion you could make this into an Easter hunt instead with bunnies and chicks. This actual garden is meant to be the cave where Jesus walked out of after he came back from the dead.

If you'd like to find out how to make this garden then please keep on reading......

Step 1: Find a bowl where you are going to put all your ingredients into! Make sure the bowl is not one you are deeply connected to and if you live with someone else make sure you ask them before using it

Step 2: Fill the bowl up with soil. Before you star doing this make sure your sleeves are rolled up because you're going to get grubby!

Step 3: You then need to place a small garden pot at the back of the bowl and this will later on resemble as the cave. Cover the pot up with more soil, and press it with your finger so it is nice and solid. Try and cover as much as the pot as you can to make it really realistic.

The guinea pigs are having a peek!

Step 4: Place pieces of wood on top of your cave

Step 5: Try and find flattish pebbles and make a path leading from the cave to the edge of the bowl. Then go and pick up some grass and place it in between the path and the bowl.

Step 6: Lastly make the cross out of two twigs and a piece of string to tie it together. Place this on top of the hill.

Which one did you like best?

Easter Activities Part 1

Hello guys! So I'm not gonna make this intro too long cause I have a lot to get through in this post! Today I'm gonna share with you some activities I do at  Easter. Some of these I've done since I was really young others was the first year I've ever done it. Tell me in the comments below which one you liked best and if you're planning on doing any? Check out my Blog on Saturday and Part 2 will hopefully be up.

Bunny Bunting

You will need:

  • Computer
  • Printer
  • Scissors
  • Colored pencils/pens
  • String

Step 1: Go onto the computer and search 'Bunny Templates' find one you like copy and paste it onto a Word Document and Print about 6 ( Depends on how many you want)

Step 2: Withe a black fine liner put detail on your bunny.

Step 3: Color your bunnies.

Step 4: Cut your bunnies out.

Step 5: Hole Punch your bunnies and put the String through them. You can now hang them up where ever you want!

Chocolate Easter Nests ( Yummy in my tummy)

These are one of my absolute favorites, all year round I look forward in making them! They are just divine. This is a tradition in our household and every Easter mum and I make them. Their are loads of different versions of this recipe but here's my one:

Ingredients

  • 200g milk chocolate
  • 180g shredded wheat
  • 2 tbsp golden syrup
  • 50g unsalted butter

Step 1: With a spoon bash the shredded wheat against it so it comes apart.

Step 2: Break up the chocolate into squares, cut the butter into small pieces and put the golden syrup into a little saucepan on low heat. Make sure you stir frequently so the chocolate doesn't burn and turn bitter.

Step 3: Combine the shredded wheat and chocolate together. When you first put the chocolate in with the wheat you will think you have hardly any chocolate but don't worry after stirring for a few minutes you will get a lovely consistency like this:

Step 4: Using 2 spoons put the mixture into a cupcake tin. You will find that once you've done all of the 12 cupcakes you will have some left over and this is when you top everything up.
Step 5: Make a little dip in each nest and place 2 or 3 mini egg in each one. Don't be afraid to press hard!
Step 5: Place nests in the fridge for about an hour so it's set.

Salon Du Chocolat

Helloha, last weekend my Chummy and I went to The Salon Du Chocolat for the very first time! We were both very excited. Alice and I are huge chocoholics and we eat chocolate whenever their is an excuse, for us this is the ideal place to spend our day. We left the boarding house at 10:45 and went on a lovely journey through gorgeous fields and stunning scenery in the countryside. On our way we passed the famous Goodwood which was very exciting! When we got to Chichester we went to the park which was only five minutes away from The Salon Du Chocolat and we had are lunch, luckily the weather was lovely. I had a very delicious bri and ham sandwich with chicken crisps ( my favorite!)

We then got to do some making! We got to choose what molds we wanted out of a large selection of lots of different ones. I ended up choosing some ducks! My friend Alice chose penguins. You then get to choose what chocolate you want in your molds and you do this by trying some chocolate buttons. I already knew what chocolate I wanted to put in it even before trying and that was milk, my number one favorite chocolate in the world! Before you got them filled up you used a paintbrush to decorate them first with other types of chocolate. I did the eyes in white and the beak in dark. You then carefully filled up the molds in melted chocolate of your choice and you popped them in the fridge for about half an hour to set. We then swapped over with the other group.

You then wrap up your chocolates to take them home.

We then went to the park, here are some of the pictures we took:

I had a lovely day! Also found out my love to Daisy Chains and I'm now planning on making them a lot more often ;)
